Valentine Special - Heart Cake






SWEETEST HEART CAKE RECIPE


Ingredients :

1 (8 inch) Round Cake (any flavor) 
1 (8 inch) Square Cake (any flavor) 
16 oz Vanilla Frosting (pink colored) 
1 large White Gumdrop 
1-1/2 cup flaked Coconut (tinted pink to match frosting) 
2 large Red Gumdrops 
Granulated Sugar 
Red Chewy Fruit Snack 

Method :

Reduce round cake into two equal semi-circles.
Place square cake and semi-circles on serving plate.
Connect with some frosting.
Frost entire cake with remaining frosting.
Drizzle it with coconut.
Flatten 1 red gumdrop with rolling pin on slightly sugared surface.
Make and cut out heart shape with cookie cutter.
Repeat it with remaining red gumdrop and white gumdrop.
Place 3 gumdrop hearts on cake, overlapping slightly.
Cut chewy fruit snack into 1/2-inch strips.
Tie strips into loose bow and place on cake.

Valentine Special - Chocolate Cherry Layer Cake



Chocolate Cherry Layer Cake



Ingredients :


3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup boiling water
1 package (16 oz.) angel food cake mix
1 1/4 cups water
1 can (20 oz.) lite cherry pie filling
Prepared chocolate frosting (reduced−fat if possible)
Chocolate shavings


Method :


Preheat oven to 350F. 
Line a jelly roll pan with wax paper
(pan should be appproximately 10 by 15 by 1 or 11 by 17 by 1). 
Whisk together cocoa, sugar and boiling water. 
Cool mixture to lukewarm.
Prepare angel food cake mix per package directions, using 1 1/4 cup
water and adding cocoa mixture. 
Spread batter evenly into prepared jelly−roll pan. 
Bake 20 minutes or until top looks dry. 
Invert onto a large wire rack. 
Remove the pan and wax paper; cool. 
Slice cake into three equal parts. 
Start with cake, top with cherry pie filling, then top that with more cake and more pie filling and end with cake layer. 
Frost and decorate with chocolate shavings.

Valentines Day Special Recipes - White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Ingredients (Nutrition) :

1 cup chocolate cookie crumbs
3 tablespoons white sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 (10 ounce) package frozen raspberries
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/2 cup water
2 cups white chocolate chips
1/2 cup half-and-half cream
3 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
1/2 cup white sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions :

1. In a medium bowl, mix together cookie crumbs, 3 tablespoons sugar, and melted butter. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan.

2. In a saucepan, combine raspberries, 2 tablespoons sugar, cornstarch, and water. Bring to boil, and continue boiling 5 minutes, or until sauce is thick. Strain sauce through a mesh strainer to remove seeds.

3. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). In a metal bowl over a pan of simmering water, melt white chocolate chips with half-and-half, stirring occasionally until smooth.

4. In a large bowl, mix together cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs one at a time. Blend in vanilla and melted white chocolate. Pour half of batter over crust. Spoon 3 tablespoons raspberry sauce over batter. Pour remaining cheesecake batter into pan, and again spoon 3 tablespoons raspberry sauce over the top. Swirl batter with the tip of a knife to create a marbled effect.

5. Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, or until filling is set. Cool, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 8 hours before removing from pan. Serve with remaining raspberry sauce.

Valentines Day Special Recipes - Ice Cream Sandwich Hearts Recipe

Ingredients:

36 oz refrigerated Peanut Butter Cookie Dough
2 tblsp Peanut (finely chopped)
Chocolate (melted) or Chocolate Sauce
2 cup Vanilla or Chocolate Ice Cream (softened)

How to Make :

1. For about 15 minutes let dough at room temperature.

2. Lubricate a jellyroll pan.

3. Put cookie dough into prepared pan sprinkle with peanuts.

4. Lightly press some nuts into it.

5. Bake it in a preheated oven to 350°f till set and golden brown, it will take about 20-25 minutes.

6. Let it cool completely in pan.

7. With the help of a heart-shaped cookie cutter cut 16 hearts.

8. Pour 1/4 cup ice cream onto 8 hearts.

9. Make top with remaining hearts.

10. Press lightly to spread ice cream to edges.

11. Pull out excess ice cream from edges.

12. Decorate sandwiches on plate.

13. Sprinkle with chocolate sauce and serve.
